Verified past-case learning library

What past cases can teach us

Historical legal judgments, used as educational examples of issues and possible remedies — never as predictions of your outcome. Each case is verified against an official court opinion or official government source.

These are real, verified U.S. Supreme Court opinions used as educational examples of issues and possible remedies — not predictions of your outcome. The binding nature of each is stated in the card. We never say "your case is the same," "you will win," "this protects your assets," or "you qualify for this remedy," and we don't score or predict outcomes.

Pending verification queue (not published). Older CFPB enforcement actions and recent lower-court matters that we have not yet re-verified against a primary source are held in an internal editorial queue marked "Pending verification." They are intentionally not shown here so the public report stays grounded in verified agency resources. We do not invent cases, citations, quotations, damages, or outcomes.
